When we say Segway Tour, we mean that we are going to tour downtown Asheville with all of the participants riding a Segway i2! It is an unforgettable way to tour a large area. Please ignore all of the flashbulbs going off while you tour the city as you may become an instant celebrity!

No. We do not rent our Segways out to individuals without a guide.

We will be operating daily with tours beginning at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. & 5 p.m. Pick the time that best suits you.

A tour can be canceled if the weather is severe. Most weather conditions are fine, with heavy rain, lightning, and snow being the exceptions. When making a reservation, leave a cell number or hotel contact info for us to keep in touch and up to date with the status of your tour. The guide reserves the right to cancel or begin each tour in every condition. If a tour is canceled due to weather, we can reschedule the tour for a later date.

With the high volume of reservations and small group size (maximum of five riders), it is advised that you reserve your tour as soon as possible.

You must be able to climb a flight of stairs unassisted without a handrail, weigh between 100 and 260 pounds, and stand upright for long periods of time. Riders must be at least 10 years old. You must pass the rider certification training and the guide holds the right to deny some participants.

Each tour lasts two hours which includes 20 to 30 minutes of training.

Wear something that you will be comfortable standing in for up to two and a half hours, i.e.; Comfortable closed toe flat shoes (no high heels or sandals), Jacket and gloves for cooler days, and shorts for warmer ones.

Yes, a helmet will be provided for you free of charge. Feel free to bring your own bicycle or snowboarding helmet.

Riding a Segway PT is one of the most fun and safest ways to move about, but no one was born riding one. We allow riders aged 10 and up and all are required to participate in the training session. PTs are not for everyone, so if you are concerned about mobility issues please call us to discuss. We will practice on the Segways until everyone feels comfortable and ready to tour.

Yes, you can! We can sell you one of our tour machines or refer you to a dealer for a new machine. Why not have this much fun everyday!? See your guide for pricing information.

We have a total of SIX Segways. ONE for the guide, FIVE for the guests.

Each Segway PT comes with a handlebar storage bag for cameras, light jackets, and purses. Please do not bring bulky backpacks with you.

You can pay when you arrive or over the phone. We accept ALL credit cards or CASH. You will also be asked to hold the reservation with a credit card.

Yes, you can cancel two days before the scheduled tour. If you cancel within the 48 hours of your tour’s start time, you will be charged the full price of the tour. Please help us out by letting us know ASAP if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Yes, we can stop at a local cafe for coffee, water, snacks, and restroom breaks.

Yes, though walk-ins are welcome if there is space on the tour.
